Grades Updated, 5/9Published: 9/16/2007
Grades have been updated, as of 5/9.

Instead of freaking out if you don't like your grade, do something to raise it!
4 keys to boosting your grade:
1) Get your 20/20 behavior points every day by acting right and getting your work done. If you're absent, make up the work from the absent box.
2) Follow the calendar to make sure you'll have all of your big homework assignments!
Work hard to earn your A+ because you are wonderful and you deserve it! |

How Daily Grades Work:Published: 9/11/2006

1. Every day you receive a grade (A to F, 20 points) based on how well you follow the classroom behavior expectations.
2. When you hand in the Do Now sheet at the end of class, it will be graded and will usually raise your Daily grade.
3. If you do not hand in your Do Now sheet the next day, I lower your daily grade by a full grade (ex: a "B" becomes a "C")
4. If you are absent, get the missing work out of the absent box by the computer and hand it in asap!
THE MORAL OF THIS STORY: Follow classroom expectations, do your work, and hand it in promptly the next day, thus getting your A+ and getting smarter each day!

Ms. M's Class Expectations
|

1. Be on time, enter quietly, and start the Do Now right away. Come prepared, and leave food, gum, drinks, phones/ electronics, and headgear out of the classroom or silently in your bag.
2. Speak and get out of your seat only by raising your hand and getting Ms. Marshall’s permission. This way everyone can hear important information.
3. Follow Ms. Marshall’s Instructions and procedures. This means get smarter by staying on task, and thus getting your work done. It also means it's not worth a detention to refuse to do something your teacher politely asks you to do.
4. Always show respect to yourself, your classmates, your teachers, visitors, and our classroom through your words and actions. |
